Jennifer Wallberg, Au.D.

Dr. Jennifer Wallberg

Dr. Jennifer Wallberg has over 18 years of experience helping people with hearing loss. She earned her bachelor's degree from St. Joseph College in West Hartford, CT, in elementary education. She went on to further her education and received her master's degree in audiology in 1995 from Southern Connecticut State University. She holds a doctoral degree in audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences, a division of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Wallberg is licensed to practice audiology in Connecticut. She is also a founding member of the Connecticut Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Wallberg began her career at The Hearing Center, LLC in November 1995 and purchased Comprehensive Hearing, LLC from Dr. Judith Shea in July 2015. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Bill, and their two daughters, Caroline and Emily. She is currently the treasurer of the Connecticut Academy of Audiology. She is also actively involved in her church, where she is a Sunday school teacher and serves as treasurer of the Altar Guild.

Dr. Jennifer Micacci

Jennifer Micacci earned her Bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University, her Master’s degree in Audiology from Southern Connecticut State University, and her Doctorate of Audiology from A.T. Still University, School of Health Sciences in Mesa, AZ. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She is an active member of the Connecticut Academy of Audiology serving as co-chair of the membership committee, and will be serving as the Vice President of Educational Affairs for 2016.

Dr. Micacci has 15+ years of experience in the profession of audiology. Her background is in medical (Ear, Nose, and Throat) offices working with patients with hearing and balance issues. She has extensive experience performing diagnostic tests and fitting hearing aids to both children and adults.

She lives in Southington with her husband and three children, Evelyn, Anthony, and Angelina. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as cooking, reading, and fitness.
